Week 1

This website will always tell you what we're doing each week as well as providing any files you need for homework and projects.

Topics: Navigating around InDesign, the workspace, toolbox, menus, rulers etc.

Friday: Bring in a magazine (and a gluestick or tape if you can!) We're going to revisit the way things were done before computers took over the industry.

Reading:

Page 5, 8, 9, and 40-41 in textbook. (Bookmark pgs. 8+9, 21). Look at 24-25 for the pictures.

What is Desktop Publishing? (Wikipedia will tell you!)

Homework

Label a copy of the InDesign workspace (due Monday, March 13). I will give you a copy of the file in class, but if you lose it, use this file (.pdf)
