guide to linking
as well,
and of course tables
part 1 and part
2
Final project due: Period 1= Wednesday, 8AM; Period 2 = Thursday,
8AM
Final project description:
Taking what you are turning in on Nov 10th (Monday) as a jumping off
point, you will complete your portfolio site - add
to that page. You should break your site into sections, all reachable
by links that appear on every page. There should be a minimum of 4 subpages.
Err on the side of having more content per page.
Navigation should appear clear and easy to understand. It should appear
at the top of the page and not dominate the page, space-wise. You should
check that all of your links work.
You have almost unlimited creative control over this site but your
end product should be the beginnings of a portfolio. Suggested sub-sections:
about me, resume, work, skills, and anything else you want to include.
You can put a projects section in there to link to things you've done
that might not quite be "work".
There should be content on each page. We will devote some time in class
to this but you will need to work outside of class as well.
If you want to scan something, we can do that. If you want to know
how to put anything on your site, please ask.
I am not picky about what techniques we learned about that you include
but please consider- tables, frames, rollovers, behaviors, etc.
And please keep in mind a strong color scheme, balance, center
of interest etc.
I will be checking your web folder on the due date.
Make sure your first page is named index.html
