Developing the Concept (Ch 2 in Design Companion for the Digital Artist", Prentice Hall © 2002) - optional

Then answer the reading response question in the forums by next Monday's class.

Sketchbook Idea:
Draw visuals for specific songs or albums you listen to. This can be interpreted very abstractly.
and/or
Try to do a spontaneous self-portrait (reading p. 67)
